*new Intimate Mystery Workshop
Introducing a new workshop based on Dr. Allender's Intimate Mystery.

May 19th-22nd, 2011
Mars Hill Graduate School
Seattle, WA

This workshop will combine Dr. Allender and Dr. Call's teachings with group times lead by highly skilled facilitators. You will explore God’s design for marriage as well as hold up a mirror to your own marriage. This unique opportunity is designed to assist you in addressing the parts of your marriage that are difficult to navigate on your own.

There are moments in every marriage when you realize there are words you do not speak, emotions you do not acknowledge and stories you do not tell. We have all been there and it does not need to be the end of the story. Let us help you speak the words, feel the emotions and enter back into the heart of your marriage.

Please join us as we work to reveal the deeper glory in ourselves, our relationships, and our Creator. Throughout this 4 day workshop, Dr. Allender and Dr. Call will speak of God's design for marriage through the matrix of Genesis 2:24 (weaving, leaving, and cleaving), family systems and their impact, gender, and family of origin issues. Topics covered will include:

  • communication
  • dreams and demands
  • family ties
  • forgiveness
  • male and female uniqueness
  • and sexual intimacy with your partner

Registration

Due to the intensity of the workshop we ask each couple to go through a brief screening process to ensure the conference is the best fit for their marriage.

After registering online and paying the deposit, you will need to download and e-mail the attached PDF to ebertram@mhgs.edu, as a part of the registration process.  An MHGS representative will then review the paper and contact you.  Finally, you will be notified regarding your eligibility for the Intimate Mystery Workshop. You will then receive an assignment via e-mail to complete after reading Intimate Mystery by Dan Allender and Tremper Longmann III.  Each couple will need to write individually on their perspective of marriage according to the concepts of leave, weave, and cleave.

This event is limited to 22 couples.
Rate: $1,200 per couple.

This includes facilitator fees, written feedback on your writing, breakfast and snacks.
