Tuition Refund Policy

Students may make changes to their registration until the 2nd Sunday after regularly scheduled classes begin without financial penalty. Between the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the term, courses will be subject to a 50% refund of tuition (this includes all intensive courses). All changes after the 3rd Sunday, will be charged the full tuition rate (no refund). Students who have experienced a hardship, forcing them to change their registration, may apply for an appeal (Financial Petition form) if they wish to receive a full/partial tuition refund. Intensive Courses may be added until the day before the course begins.

For Practicum Courses

Due to the many complexities in scheduling practicum courses, in order for students to receive a refund if they drop a practicum – they must do so 2 – 3 weeks before the term begins. The dates for the 2008-2009 academic year are as follows:
  • Practicum I – if dropped on or after August 15, 2008 no refund
  • Practicum II – if dropped on or after December 12, 2008 no refund
  • Practicum III – if dropped on or after April 3, 2009 no refund
  • Practicum IV – because this is a lecture course instead of small practicum groups, this course would follow weekly course drop policies.
