Student Handbook
What in the world is a student handbook?  Is it a guide to truth?  Is it a small container to carry tidbits of information about school?  In fact, it is both.  It is askeletal guide to explain the central procedures and policies that govern life at Mars Hill Graduate School (MHGS).  It is the law, or the truth about how we do business.  It is a repository of some (certainly not all) of the ways we wish to do life together as a learning community.

All cultures (i.e. communities, families) have written and unwritten rules about how to live together.  When you enter a new culture, it is helpful to know how certain activities are conducted and where one can look to get needed information on how things are managed in that world.  The student handbook is the guide for providing information and alleviating confusion about how to make your time at school most productive.  Please read through the handbook.  As a faculty, administration, and staff we will do our best to provide you with the information you request.

We are thrilled you have joined us for a portion of your educational journey.  We pray that we might serve you in a way that enlarges your horizons and deepens your grasp of the gospel.

In His Kindness,

Dan B. Allender, Ph.D.
President
