"Give not thyself up, then, to fire, lest it invert thee, deaden thee; as for the time it did me. There is a wisdom that is woe; but there is a woe that is madness..."
-Herman Melville

Thinking | engaging | embodying
The MHGS faculty strives to create an educational environment where students will think critically and creatively, engage authentically and relationally, and embody a synthesis of text, soul and culture that moves students outward into the larger community and the church.  Through an integrated and intentional process of formation, students are invited to pursue life-long learning, personal and spiritual growth and productive and meaningful citizenship that will reflect the presence of Christ in the world.
